WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

The Red Door Cottage is a very nice mix of cozy, comfortable and convenient. Located on a back street about two blocks from Main Street and all that Lake Placid has to offer. Our family of five stayed there for a weekend. It was very nice to come "home" to after an active day. It has all of the basics with a few nice extras including coffee K-Cups, board games and bottled water in each bedroom.

Lovely house and great location for all of Lake Placid, my family of 5 stayed over Christmas, there was plenty of space for us, the house is really nice and we enjoyed staying there. I would recommend staying there in winter with Whiteface mountain close and Lake Placid with snow is a winter wonderland.

Met our expectations and more. This house was easy to find - even at night - and we settled in without a hitch. Patricia welcomed us warmly the next day and answered all of our questions. Short drive to center of Lake Placid Village. Mill Pond Park just down the street was perfect for our kids. They even thought to provide us with a disposable roasting pan, since it was Thanksgiving! All in all, we loved the hospitality and the cozy and clean accommodations.

Property is located on the edge of central Lake Placid. Good access to local restaurants and all of the outdoor activities in the high peaks region.

The house was perfect! Clean and cozy!!!! My grandson got to roam in and out of the house. Thanx to the fenced in yard. A great location! Pat was very accommodating. Will be back for sure!

Great house in a convenient, yet quiet location in LP. A few blocks from Main St where you'll find a number of good restaurants, shopping and the Olympic Museum. We weren't there for the skiing season, but the ski center itself is a quick drive. The house has a great kitchen, fully stocked and is very cozy. We had bad luck with the weather while there, so weren't able to enjoy the patio+grill, which I bet is a great feature of the house on warmer days. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We arrived at a clean comfortable cozy home with with many unique touches; waters by the beds, apples and caramels on the table and east to use Bluetooth (URL HIDDEN) made for a great family weekend.

Red door cottage is a clean cozy place to vacation. The deck out back is wonderfull for a barb-q or to just chill and relax. Patricia was very helpful and nice helping us with attractions or anything else we might have needed. Very close to olympic center and the lake. We had a wonderfull time, thanx
